The Original National Climate Assessments
These are the original reports for the U.S. National Climate Assessment, number 3, 4, and 5. I have downloaded them from their original U.S. government repository and uploaded them here for safekeeping, because the Trump regime intends to alter them with climate-denier material. When and if that plan goes through, I fully expect the originals to be no longer available on official government websites.
But as my character Edward Kirby says, “we’ve got the data box.”
These reports are in the public domain. Some graphics in them are copyrighted. Where this is the case, they have been credited to the copyright holder in the original report. As the copyright notices themselves state:
This report is in the public domain. Some materials used herein are copyrighted, and permission was granted for their publication in this report. For subsequent uses that include such copyrighted materials, permission for reproduction must be sought from the copyright holder. In all cases, credit must be given for copyrighted materials. All other materials are free to use with credit to this report.
I believe that, since I am not taking any of these copyrighted images out of the report to use in another document, but reproducing the original public-domain report exactly as published, posting the full PDFs on this website does not count as a “subsequent use that includes such copyrighted materials,” so this presentation falls within copyright law. All copyrighted elements are the property of their owners.
Because of file size upload limitations, I’ve split some of the files. No other modifications have taken place.
